Edward (152.163.38.227) - Are there any good lists of IPs that are connected to from spyware? Comment #1 Brandon Miller (70.134.48.141) - There used to be a program called I believe peer gardian that might have helped you out in the past. Whether that is still a project being supported I could not tell you, but you might check it out just the same. Comment #2 Mike (200.2.14.200) - Here is a link to their website. Comment #3 Mike (200.2.14.204) - Here is a list from Phoenix Labs of various IP lists. Comment #4 Jimmy (152.163.38.248) - It looks like a lot of that focus is against blocking INBOUND TCP/IP traffic. Comment #5 PokerPrincess (1) from Earth - WOW, never thought of looking for blockers for that. But you certainly do have a point there. There are a lot of things that can be transmitted from your computer without you knowing it. Comment #6 Sam from Net - I think it is a good idea to put the IP List in your firewall and block them. But I feel it may take some time for these lists to get updated. Comment #7 Sweetness from Earth, the Universe - Well I just did an update on my Norton virus and it downloaded a firewall at the same time so that you can block both incoming and outgoing or at least get notification of anything that is trying either way. Comment #8 imaginarydivabc from vancouver, bc - I use Spybot-SD Resident. It works very well. And it notifies me right away. Comment #9 MrD (72.66.30.207) - There are very many for that my friend, but i can give you a list of URL's never to visit because they are sites that install spyware into your PC. Comment #10 snowbird (1) from The North - My firewall blocks alot of things. The problem is I don't know if it is important downloads or just spyware. I wish it would give me an explaination of what type of program it is. Comment #11 Olivia from Online - Thanks for the list of IP's. I've added them. Comment #12 Conyngham from the windy city - When I run my spyware program it comes up with a long list of spyware items for deletion. It seems thought that many of these are quite innocuous and really don't constitute spyware as such. How does one differentiate between these and actual spyware? Or is it just that because they slow the system down that they should be deleted rather than that they are getting up to any nefarious tricks? Comment #13 Rofjo (67.181.22.251) - encrypt-the-planet.com Some block lists there
