Question about spyware

Can spyware really cause problems with your computer? I run spybot and other programs quite alot and it seems that the only problems it has caused me is bogging down my pc. What kinds of problems can these programs really cause besides tracking which websites you visit.

If you have run Spybot and it found nothing there as suspicious or malicious then you should feel safe and your PC should not be bogged down. Just check your memory and how many programs are loaded there, may be that is the reason your PC is bogged down.

Yes- these spyware programs download on your systems to track what websites you go to and that is what can slow down your pc.
